Miniature Painting
One of the more specialist artistic hobbies I am currently pursuing is the painting of Games Workshop miniatures. It started with a desire to
play Bloodbowl again with Jamie and some of our friends. I had some Bloodbowl teams (half painted) from my university days, but they'd
been ignored for several years while other, more important things were going on in my life.
But now they are back with a vengeance!
We've got far more models in the house than we've had time to paint, because our mad "buy everything we can get our hands on off e-bay"
tactic has led to a bit of a painting backlog! So as and when items get finished, I'll upload pictures here.
I'm going to split it into sections, because as well as painting Bloodbowl miniatures I am now starting work on a Warhammer Orcs and
Goblins army. Jamie is planning on building up an Empire army as well, and we're also looking into some of the Warhammer 40,000 models
(particularly the Space Orks, because the models are so cool).
I'm not going to go into any huge great geeky detail about what the models actually do within the games or anything, this isnt about the
geekery, its about the artistic endeavour. The work shown here is a collective effort - some models are exclusively my own work, others are
all down to Jamie's painting talent (which currently outstrips my own, not having collected Warhammer when I was a kid). I will make the
effort to correctly identify who painted what when I upload the pictures.

Again, nothing really finished here at all. We're focusing on the Warhammer Fantasy stuff right now, although I'm hoping
Jamie will finish his Orc Buggy soon so I can at least put that on here.
